I bought my brand new 2015 Terrain in with 2015 or 2016. I have had to have 4 different fuel injectors put in since that date, and Parks put them all in plus a new harness and something else. The last things plus 1 of the 4 fuel injectors was just over the past 3.5 weeks. I picked my Terrain up on Friday, Oct.4th, and it broke down on me Sun, Oct. 6 on the side of a busy highway and has to be towed once again! I cannot in good faith tell ANYONE to buy a GMC at this time. I believe they should have honestly offered me a new vehicle when I had to bring my then new vehicle back after only 1 year for a new fuel injector. Not a happy customer!
I didn't get my new truck washed again. Second vehicle purchase from parks and the first one didn't get washed either. The sales person lied to me about my tool box not fitting in my new truck. I had to out it in by myself. Did not go over any options on the vehicle and was kinda rude. I probably wont purchase a third vehicle from there.
My experience over the past four years with my 2015 GMC has been excellent especially Parks Service Department. Naturally I wanted to repeat my previous experience. My first meeting was with a young man in wraparound, tactical ?, sunglasses while I was comparing the vehicles I had already researched online. I did not want to be bothered and told him so on his second attempt to draw my attention. Ding One! Finally one of the vehicles I wished to compare was in an alternate lot so I had to enlist someone’s help. Tod Bates, an interesting coincidence since 4 years ago the sales person’s name was “Yates”, was eager to help me and did. I knew what I wanted but was hopeful to see if I co get a deal since the 2020 line was now available in some models meaning that the 2019’s were depreciating on their lot. I felt that my trade in was in “Very Good”, according tho the “Kelly Blue Book” description, and I could get a good deal based on customer loyalty, if not by GM at least by the a dealer incentive. My trade value, however, came in under both “Kelly Blue Book” and the lower value of “NADA”, Ding Two. Considering that GM was offering 12% off for “non-GM owners” and I only received ~3% off, don’t know if this was GM or the dealership, coupled with the low-ball on my trade in felt more like 1.5% off, Ding 3, where is the customer loyalty? Mike the financial guy there told me this was the best deal I could get! So the best I can give is 4 stars and a warning, considering the current GM-UAW strike in its third week, Caveat Emptor in the next few coming months!
